This week during Maths I have learnt to answer subtraction equations using the tidy number strategy an the place value strategy.
This is my example
183-68= ?
add 2 to the 68 to make 70 then add 2 183 to make a 185
185-70. Split the 185.
100+80+5-70
70-80=10
so now you have 100+10+5
your answer 115.
